Most of us carry a quiet fear of losing what we have. It follows us to work, to the kitchen table, into every plan we make. Fear of loss shrinks the life we're protecting. Today I cooked a full dinner and set the table as if the house were full, and I enjoyed every bite. Nothing was lost. Something was practised. You don't have to wait for the crowd to live like the host. Set the table anyway.
Weekly review
Oct 4 to Oct 10
This week was about building clarity and confidence through deliberate action and thoughtful organization. It was a time to set clear roles, both in work and daily habits, allowing each part to focus on its strength without distraction. The practice of seeing success before starting any task helped shape a mindset that welcomes accomplishment rather than waiting for it.
There was a steady focus on presence and trust, learning to act without being consumed by worry or the need to control outcomes. This balance between doing what’s possible and accepting what isn’t allowed for progress without unnecessary resistance. Opening up to others and expressing gratitude deepened connections, reminding that growth often happens through shared experiences and support.
The week closed with a reminder that no one builds a better life alone. Showing up consistently, staying curious, and leaning on the right people makes challenges feel more manageable and goals more attainable. It was a week of steady steps forward, fueled by quiet courage and the willingness to engage fully with both work and relationships.
