Pages, logs, and embeds

The host may keep ordinary server logs, such as the address of the page requested, the time, a browser identifier, and an IP address, so the site can stay online and be secured. Some pages embed Instagram. Loading those embeds can let Instagram and Meta set their own cookies and receive technical data from your browser. Social links to LinkedIn, X, and Instagram leave this site when you follow them.

How it is used

Information you send is used to reply, to schedule a conversation, and to operate this site. It is not sold. Email is not used for a mailing list unless you ask to be included. A mobile number is texted only after you submit the form at sanjeevan.ca/text and check the box.

How long it is kept

Email is kept long enough to continue the conversation and for ordinary records. HubSpot keeps meeting details under its own retention settings. Server logs are kept for the period the host retains them.

Text messages

The signup form at sanjeevan.ca/text asks for a mobile number. The consent box is not checked for you. When you check it and submit, the site stores the number, the time in Toronto, the consent sentence shown on the form, and the IP address of that request. Twilio sends them from +1 (888) 777-5080. The number is not sold. You can expect up to one text a day about that day’s reflection. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. Your choices

You can ask what information is held from your emails or meeting requests, and you can ask for a correction or deletion where it is still in reach. Write to [email protected]. You can also control cookies in your browser, which limits what embedded services can store.
